Message from Superintendent Ahmadi regarding Unrest in Our Nation's Capital

Dear Families,

Today’s events in Washington have certainly been extremely unsettling for all of us, and it may be especially disconcerting for our children. It is important to remember that what happened today is not the first tumultuous time in our nation, but we can continue to persevere and do our part to improve.

As Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday approaches, we are reminded that past each struggle lies an opportunity to build a better community and society. We emerge stronger as a community because of the tremendous effort happening at local level, in our schools, our homes with our families, and in the community.

Please let your children’s teachers or principals know if they need any support.

Wishing our nation a better tomorrow.

Best regards,

Parvin Ahmadi
Superintendent
