What is Tigerthon?
This is a walk-a-thon fundraiser which raises a large portion of our annual Parents Club budget through students collecting pledges or donations. The funds are used to help pay for Music for Minors II music education, K-3 Science instruction, teacher reimbursements, Chromebooks, and other school needs.
We are switching things up this year and running Tigerthon for the week of April 30th - May 7th. Families will be walking on their own or with their social pod. There will be no laps done at school this year due to the need to social distance. There will be a Google Form to fill out to track your mileage each day you walk. You can walk as many days as you want for as long as you want!!
T-Shirts
Every student gets a free Tigerthon themed t-shirt!! T-shirts will be handed out by the teachers.
If your student is virtual, their shirts will be at the front of the school when they are ready.
Distance Goal
Let’s reach 1,000 miles walking together!! Check out our website daily between May 1st and May 8th to see if Chabop reaches the top of Mt. Chabot (a 1,000 mile journey)!

Fundraising Goal
We need YOU to help us reach our fundraising goal of $20,000. This money is crucial to our ability to aid Chabot. Did you know that Science instruction is about $30,000 PER YEAR? The Parents Club also helps pay for school supplies and field trips and SO MUCH MORE.
Fundraising Online Platform
We will be using Walkstarter for our online fundraising. Families that sign up on Walkstarter and solicit donations online raise 3 times as much as those that collect cash, coins, and checks in person! When registering on Walkstarter (directions to follow), please note that 1 lap is equal to ¼ mile. When you are setting your laps walked goal, in case friends and family want to pledge per lap, 1 mile = 4 laps.
